SUMMARY:Yoga Conditioning
DESCRIPTION:Want to level up your practice? Dive deeper in specific poses? Each yoga conditioning class uses movement to build strength and flexibility coupled with form and function within a set of asanas. \nUsing props — blocks\, straps\, and the wall — we’ll explore each asana with curiosity and intention\, honoring the fact that not every body moves the same way. Less about getting it “right\,” and more about understanding what you’re feeling and why. \nWalk away with a deeper connection to your body\, more confidence in your practice\, and tools you can carry into every class you take.

In 2026\, Otsukimi falls on Saturday September 26. It is said that the Otsukimi moon-viewing custom was first introduced to Japan by China\, during the Heian period. The celebration is culturally important across East and Southeast Asia\, where festivities often include outdoor evening picnics\, seasonal cuisine\, and giving thanks for the bountiful harvest of the year. In Japan\, the most important imagery and objects associated with Otsukimi is rabbits pounding mochi on the full moon! \nMake your own rabbit ear headgear at 2026 Otsukimi.

SUMMARY:Rest & Restore Yoga Nidra & Sound
DESCRIPTION:Give yourself permission to deeply rest. This nurturing practice melts away tension and restores your body at the deepest level. \nWe’ll begin with gentle breathwork and supportive restorative poses\, using bolsters\, blankets\, and blocks to help you fully let go. Then\, you’ll be guided into Yoga Nidra—a state of conscious deep rest where your body sleeps\, but your awareness remains gently awake. In this liminal space\, you’ll release what no longer serves you and plant seeds for positive transformation. \nHealing sound vibrations from bowls/gongs/chimes will wash over you throughout\, deepening your relaxation and supporting your body’s natural ability to renew. \nThis is not a practice of doing—it’s a practice of receiving. Come rest deeply and leave feeling refreshed and whole.
