This is an actively engaged membership that supports one another in the pursuit of happiness in this unique and vibrant community. We have something special here.

The Historic Downtown Plano Association (HDPA) is a 501(C)6 not-for-profit organization with a mission to advance community awareness of Plano’s historic district. Our members support the ongoing vibrancy and beautification of the district for the benefit of the entire community.

The HDPA produces unique events each year that are family-friendly and celebrate the arts & cultural heritage of our unique district. Why not check out the entertainment section for live music and event schedules? We’d love to see you there.

The Historic Downtown Plano Association is funded in part by the Public Improvement District (PID) and revenue generated from the various events held throughout the year.  Money raised is distributed in part to local non-profit organizations in the historic district including the Assistance Center of Collin County, My Possibilities, Emily’s Place, North Texas Food Bank, and the SPCA.

Funds retained by HDPA are returned back to the advertising, promotion, beautification, safety and security of the Historic Downtown Plano Arts District.
