The Historic Downtown Plano Association is an 501 (c) 6 organization as recognized by the State of Texas Secretary of State and the Internal Revenue Service. The HDPA represents all of Downtown Plano including merchants, property owners, Non Profits, and residents. The Association serves to embrace the future of Downtown Plano and Preserve its unique historic character
The Association we meet monthly on the first Tuesday of every month with the time and place to be determined.
The mission of HDPA is ADVOCACY - EDUCATION - PROMOTION
ADVOCACY - We support Downtown Plano by working with area groups such as members The City of Plano and The Plano Chamber of Commerce to work on ongoing revitalization and redevelopment projects that will improve the look of Downtown as well as preserve the area for generations to come
EDUCATION - The HDPA provides support to its members in preserving the historic aspects of Downtown Plano as well as spreading the word about Downtown Plano. HDPA is committed to educate Plano, Collin County, and North Texas on the unique character and history that is Downtown Plano
PROMOTION - The HDPA works with its members to promote Downtown Plano via programs, events, and marketing/advertising plans. Promotion of Downtown Plano enables the HDPA to gain public awareness and to attract visitors to the Downtown Plano.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership into the HDPA is open to anyone. Majority of our members have an interest in Downtowns as well as the revitalization of Downtown Plano. Are members include Historic 15th St. merchants, property owners, Non-Profits, Downtown Plano Businesses, as well as Plano supporters, residents, and civic groups.

By being part of HDPA, you are helping the revitalization of Downtown Plano. The HDPA sponsors KidsFest, Taste of Downtown and Downtown Art Walk. Also, the HDPA supports events in downtown including Dickens in Downtown Plano and Plano International Festival.
The HDPA also supports local community organizations including Plano East High School Panthers Booster Club, Plano ISD, Plano Symphony, and the Plano Chamber of Commerce.
